Do you ever experience outrageous synchronicity? Recently, I was at a local dance.

During the opening circle, a woman introduces herself as Lorraine and adds, “Venus is with me.” I do not understand her, but being the creative that I am, I’m intrigued.
The facilitator has set out a deck of beautiful divination cards, The Rumi Oracle by Alana Fairchild with artwork by Rassouli. Soon after the opening circle, I feel inspired to choose a card. I heard a clear inner voice say, “The 30th card.” I count out 29 cards and turn over the 30th. Al-Uzza Star Of Venus. !!

As one of the brightest lights in the sky, Venus has been a part of humanity since its beginnings and has been sacred in many cultures. It has been an inspiration for writers and poets as the “morning star” and “evening star.” Venus is named after the Roman goddess, who is an expression of love, beauty, desire, sex, fertility, prosperity and victory. Wow, what a gal!

One of the goddess’ symbols is the rose. . . . I love roses and often draw them. The open rose looks, smells and feels sensual and luscious.

The world is asking us–and needing us!–to be our magnificent selves, which means embodying our sacred feminine and stepping more fully into our sensual and luscious bodies.

If you are reading this now, you have received The Star Of Venus, too. What does the metaphor of Venus mean to you?

Listen to your instincts and your inner voice of guidance. Allow inspiration to touch you. Be open to synchronicities. Follow your star.

from my open rose heart to yours,
