Your dreams will not give birth to themselves. You are their birth mama! There comes a time when you’ve got to muster up all your inner reserves. Take a powerful stand for your dreams. And birth them into this world that is in need of them.

For me, this happened the day before the launch of Wise Hearted Woman.

I had tuned into my body wisdom and had asked her for a launch date. May 10, 2017 was the day, because it would be the Full Flower Moon. (Yes to sacred feminine!)

If you have launched a new business or created a DIY wedding or organized a fundraiser or completed any other ginormous project, you know how much effort, time and commitment it takes. Way more than expected. Way more than anyone will ever know.

On May 8, everything was moving forward as planned.

On May 9, my new Wise Hearted Woman website went haywire. I had created the WordPress website myself, so who was I to turn to for help? I quickly contacted my former web designer, who told me he had no idea what was going wrong. YIKES!  I could not believe this was happening. Stresssss. (I could not postpone the launch date. I was being interviewed in a telesummit on May 11.) I wanted to put my head under the covers and give up. Ugh!

Then I realized that this was labor pain. I was birthing my new business. I could not give up on my baby. I had to take a stand for myself and for all of my future clients!

At 3:00AM, I cleared my mind, asked my Wild Wisdom for help and followed her guidance. I GOT TO WORK. Contacted my web host company. More than once. Contacted WordPress. More than once. Contacted my email marketing platform. Contacted my website creation teacher, Christina Hills. More than once. Who graciously contacted her tech team. I worked from 3:00AM to 11:00AM straight. At one point, I was screen sharing with a tech guy on the east coast. (In  mid-session, I stopped to thank him—sharing that our conversation was nothing short of a personal miracle.)

Eventually, the two website glitches were smoothed out.

Wise Hearted Woman launched on May 10th under the Full Flower Moon with a beautiful new website. What a happy birthday! I was incredibly proud of  myself.

Do not give up on your dream. When need be, take a powerful stand. If labor pain starts up, keep breathing. Ask your Wild Wisdom for help. Be willing to do the work needed to push your big baby dream out into the world.

What dream are you birthing this spring? Let me know if if you need my help as a  midwife.

Spring blessings from my courageous heart to yours,
